Kabuki Pillows

In Edo-period Japan, woodblock print master Shunkosai Hokushu was among the artists whose work depicted the culture of opulence and pleasure known as The Floating World. Inspired by his work, these pillows feature performers in the Kabuki, a classical form of theater known for its color and drama. Made of cotton-poly blend fabric with the softness of silk, the pillows are printed on both sides. They're finished with knife edges and hidden zippers and filled with duck feather inserts.

    Kabuki Pillow, Stern Samurai
Great fabric and feel. The colors are dark and rich, just the way I wanted. I coordinates well with my other throw pillows. I will probably buy another of this series.

    Beautiful Samurai pillows
These two pillows showing Kabuki actors as Samurai are outstanding examples of the Edo period of Japanese art. The are well- made and would be a wonderful addition in any home. Another quality item available from Gump's.
