I think the product is acceptable but the finish does not look like a lacquer finish - just glossy paint. I would not recommend this product to others.

    Best gift to myself
I have dreamed of having my beautiful Peking console for a few years and was finally able to get it. It is everything that was described in the catalog. The white glove hands on company was just wonderful, careful, courteous and clean. Gumps has so much that I like but will have to control myself in spending.
I feel the price was very good and I will cherish this piece of furniture, one of my finest.

Does the red color of the cabinet's lacquer (or painted) finish match the color that is shown online? Is it a glossy finish all over?

    BEST ANSWER: Hi Vivian,

Yes, the color is the same as what’s shown online. However, please note that due to photography lighting, the piece may appear brighter online. The console has a semi-glossy finish.

I hope this answers your questions.

    Thank you,
