In the tradition of fine equine sculpture, these two complementary terra-cotta pieces capture the strength and presence of stallions. Inspired by the Byzantine horses high up on St. Mark's in Venice and in Tang Dynasty China's equestrian modeling. Made entirely by hand using techniques from Tang-era artisans, with a washed and distressed black glaze that reveals glimpses of the clay beneath. A Gump's exclusive. Imported.
