Thomas Keller, owner of Napa Valley's French Laundry and Bouchon and Manhattan's Per Se, created this dinnerware collection with a clean design that highlights the food itself. Emphasizing beautiful food presentation as well as decorative style, the Point line is clean and modern, and equally suitable for casual and special-occasion dining. The first dinnerware to be designed by a chef, Point fittingly bears the name of one, too-that of Fernand Point, legendary French restaurateur, father of nouvelle cuisine, and hero of Keller's. To create Point, Keller collaborated with Bertrand Raynaud, president of his family's celebrated Raunaud Company, which crafts the dinnerware from white porcelain in Limoges, the source of fine European porcelain since 1768. Made in France. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Also available at Gump's San Francisco store. Gump's gift box included.
