When Thomas Keller created his signature dinnerware, he ensured a well-rounded collection by including these pieces. The wide-rimmed risotto dishes are specially shaped to help keep the risotto at optimal temperature. The teardrop bowls are ideal for serving the French fish dumplings called quenelles, and can also be used for nuts and olives. Two sculptural spoons make a dramatic service for an amuse bouche. Keller, owner of Napa Valley's French Laundry and Bouchon and Manhattan's Per Se, gave Point a clean design that draw the eye to the foods they serve, and suit casual and special-occasion dining equally well. Keller designed the collection in collaboration with Bertrand Raynaud of the celebrated Raynaud company, which crafts Point from pure white porcelain in Limoges, the source of fine European porcelain since 1768. Made in France. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Also available at Gump's San Francisco.
