Master craftspeople build the cabinet from solid chestnut, selecting each piece by hand. Next, they use sophisticated joinery methods to build the sideboard without nails or screws. Finally, the piece is finished both inside and out using a 14-step lacquering and staining process that enhances and protects the beauty of the wood. Hand-forged iron drawer pulls.
