Celebrated chef Thomas Keller, owner of Napa Valley's French Laundry and Bouchon and Manhattan's Per Se, turns his creative talents to the tabletop. Point is named for Fernand Point, French restaurateur and the father of nouvelle cuisine. Checks is inspired by the tiny hound's-tooth patterned cloth used for professional chefs' pants. Keller collaborated directly with the celebrated Raynaud company to create these patterns, which are crafted from pure white porcelain in Limoges, the source of fine European porcelain since 1768. Made in France. Microwave- and dishwasher-safe. Also available at Gump's San Francisco store.
