Lynn Nakamura grew up in Hawaii and began stringing necklaces from the island’s natural materials at a very young age. In thinking about her passions and possible professions, she opted to take this childhood interest to the next level and began training as a gemologist, eager to learn everything she could about the composition and identification of fine gemstones.
Today that background has added an important perspective to her jewelry designs. She only chooses the finest in gemstones, jade, and pearls and opts for colors and compositions that enhance and play off of one another in an understated way.
